Kindness is Beautiful

I have always been inspired by true STORIES of KINDness and the way it can shape other people’s lives. So let me share my HUMANkind story with you!

Late one afternoon, my husband and I came back from shopping and being in a hurry to unload it all, and get to another destination on time, I left my purse and phone on the tonic cover at the back of his four-wheel-drive. I only realized that I did not have either, when I wanted to make a phone call while we were driving there.

Procrastibaking is creating a cake from the heart

The first story of humanKINDness I want to share with you is my own, and one that touched my heart deeply. In 1997 my late father was shot on his farm in Muldersdrift. For the next two months he was in ICU in the Hospital, fighting for his life. It was an incredibly difficult time for me with two young children, a husband and a full-time job… I was struggling to process and work through the emotional trauma of this horrid event. My daughter was due to celebrate her eight birthday during this time and sadly, she shared her birthday with my father.
