Lost Purse

"Small acts of KINDness matter!"

I have always been inspired by true STORIES of KINDness and the way it can shape other people’s lives. So let me share my HUMANkind story with you!

Late one afternoon, my husband and I came back from shopping and being in a hurry to unload it all, and get to another destination on time, I left my purse and phone on the tonic cover at the back of his four-wheel-drive. I only realized that I did not have either, when I wanted to make a phone call while we were driving there.

Needless to say, that by that time they both, had fallen from the tonic cover. We drove all along the way we travelled in the hope that there is a possibility that I will still pick it up.

After a long search in the vicinity, we realized that all hope was lost, and I had to stop all my cards and block my phone. Having also lost my identity document and driver’s license in my purse proved quite a challenge.  We still searched for another three days along that way, but to no avail. However great was my surprise when on day four I got a call from a lady, three blocks from where I am staying, informing me that she has picked up my purse, lying alongside the road where we travelled opposite their house.

Upon opening my purse there was my, identity document, driver’s license, and other cards. What an immense relief it was. Not only was I spared all the trouble of applying for all the new documents, but the purse was also a personal gift.

This lady is Cecelia Jansen. Her act of kindness has spared me a lot of trouble and the purse was a special gift that I so cherished. According to her, this is a small act of KINDness, but to me, it was of significant value!! Cecelia will in the future also share her story of KINDness with us!

So after reading this true STORIE and watching the video link as supplied, I dare you, to be KIND!
